Bonsai Wire

Bonsai wire comes in various thickness and therefore various strengths and is used to hold branches in place when styling bonsai trees. It is also used to tie trees into their pots to keep them stable after repotting. Our bonsai wire is annealed aluminum so is easy to use and blends well with the trees bark. This aluminium wire is easily to cut and bent and should be applied at about 45 degrees when styling branches. As the trees grow they thicken so make sure that the bonsai wire does not become tight as this will mark the bark. Use wire cutters to remove rather than un wind it. We sell the rolls of bonsai wire in 100g and 500g packs. The lengths of wire in each pack is also listed
